The Rumah Penghulu Abu Seman stands as one of the finest remaining examples of Malay vernacular architecture. It was built in stages between 1910 and the early 1930s. Originally located in Kedah, it has now been rescued, restored, and relocated in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Surrounded by many high-rise buildings it still represents the cultural & historic depth of MalaysiThe artist illustrates her love towards traditional houses in this painting.
